Almost every country in the world has an army dedicated to protecting its national interests against enemies from without and within. Armies across the world have a myriad of differences and variations, ranging from their, structure, composition, technology, training and the abilities of their members. A common measuring tool for figuring out the overall strength of a nations army is the size; the number of personnel serving in the organization.
