Over 23,000 participants ran, walked and rolled through the National Capital Region in the 9th annual Canada Army Run, presented by BMO. During the race, Canadian Armed Forces personnel and ill and injured soldiers were accompanied by participants of all ages and abilities.
Canada Army Run was happy to welcome various distinguished members as they ran the race alongside other participants including the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Defence Minister; and Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk, Commander Canadian Army. Also in attendance were Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada; and Mrs. Sharon Johnston, both Patrons of Canada Army Run.
