Cadets recognize Esprit De Corps

On August 10, at a small reception in their new Ottawa offices, the Navy League of Canada presented Esprit de Corps Magazine with a token of appreciation for the publication’s creation of the popular feature: Cadet Corner.

Presenting the ship’s wheel plaque is Lieutenant-Colonel Gino Chrétien (left), chief of staff for the National Cadet & Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group, with publisher Scott Taylor and office manager Julie Simoneau proudly accepting this magnificent artifact on behalf of Esprit de Corps. Rest assured it will soon have a prominent place of honour in the Esprit de Corps office.

Cadet Corner has been a very successful joint venture between the three Cadet organizations and Esprit de Corps. Since it was launched in the summer of 2015, Cadet Corner has brought greater awareness of this youth program to the wider defence community, while at the same time engaging young Cadet readers with global military and political affairs.
